TMNT

Okay so I keep forgetting to write and blog about my gaming adventures. I think this semester has been a busy one for everyone...

So if you haven't guess it, I have been playing TMNT for the Wii. I actually have been playing for awhile but finished it this week. The game is fun because you use the remote and nunchuck. The nunchuck controls the movement and kicking motions while the remote controls the use of weapons. You have to look ahead and keep alert.

This game is fun and good for all age levels, the only drawback is that game is one player. A strength is you can unlock several mini games.

Gaming it up...

So I have been playing around with the Game Maker Pro software and wow this assignment is going to be neat. Tomorrow is devoted to tutorials and figuring this thing out.

As for playing games... a lot of Wii sports continue... I finally reached Pro status on tennis.

Why I'm too old for Pokemon...

So I decided to rent some homework for the weekend and I thought since Pokemon is very popular amongst students, I would give it a try. Man, I am over my head with this one. I remember when Pokemon first invaded the US and I understood Pokemon, which ones were which and what to do. I even had the orginal Pokemon game for the Nintendo Gameboy.

Now that years have gone by, I am out of my league with Pokemon. I was and still am clueless as to which Pokemon are which and even how to even play the game. Now if I was 12 I would probably excell at this game with no problems, but man I was bad. I tried and tried, but I couldn't make it very far.

The graphics and plot of the game are interesting and I like watching the screen more than actually playing. I still have the game for two more days so I will keep you all posted on how my Poke adventure goes...

Until next time....

Nothing but Love for Wii Tennis

So I recently purchased the Nintendo Wii and man how it is amazing! Wii tennis is awesome because you use the Wii remote as the tennis racket. How you hold the remote, swing the remote, and tilt the remote controls the spin and speed of returning the ball. The more you play the game, the better you get. You earn points for winning matches as you try to get a 1000 point ranking.

This is a game you can play for hours and have fun because you dive right into the action.

What do you mean my oxen died?!?

So I have started blogging about my gaming adventures. What a better way to start then to write about my favorite game when I was an elementray student, Oregon Trail. If you were somewhere under a rock during the 80's/early 90's, Oregon Trail is a game of choices and I would say an early simulation game because the choices you make have future impacts. The goal of the game is to make it to Oregon and we decided we you are and you is going to be in your wagon party.

There are twists and turns, died oxen, hunting trips, and broken wagon axles along the way. Sometimes a wagon party member may die due to snake bite or worse...dysentary.

The game is primative in graphics and it is okay and preferred that way. It is awesome to be able to play Oregon Trail online because you get to be a kid again and relive the joy of making it to Oregon or the agony of dieing of typhid fever half way through the mountains.,
